Starting Monday, 27th January 2025, we’re launching our popular 0-5K program, designed to get you off the couch and running confidently in just 8 weeks. With sessions every Monday and Wednesday at 6am, this course is perfect for busy people who want to begin their day feeling energised.

Why Choose Tay Run Club’s 0-5K Program?

Our course is based on the trusted NHS Couch to 5K plan, a proven method for building fitness gradually and sustainably. Whether you’re completely new to running or coming back after a break, this program will help you progress safely and effectively.

Sessions are led by Angela, a qualified Scottish Athletics Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF). With her experience and support, you’ll be guided through every step of the journey. Angela knows how to make running accessible, enjoyable, and tailored to all fitness levels.

What to Expect

• Structured Sessions: Each session combines walking and running intervals to gradually build stamina.

• Community Support: You’ll train alongside a group of like-minded beginners, making the experience fun and motivating.

• Expert Coaching: Angela will provide guidance, tips, and encouragement to keep you on track.

• Progress Tracking: By the end of 8 weeks, you’ll be running confidently for 30 minutes.
